Sandusky's History of the Underground Railroad In-Person
Join us for a talk about the city of Sandusky's history with the Underground Railroad with Sandusky Library's museum manager, Jeremy Angstadt. The Underground Railroad was a network throughout the United States that assisted runaway slaves, or Freedom Seekers, in making their way to freedom in Canada. The city of Sandusky has a rich history and connection to the Underground Railroad due to its proximity to Lake Erie.
